Used to be employers avoided younger women because they'd get pregnant every year or two and miss six months of work - which the employer must pay out of health care benefits. Men have no such benefit; another disparity women cover up by screaming they don't make as much as a man (bull).
Since 95% of all public relations jobs in Phoenix are held by women, employers must prefer losing years of work and paying higher health insurance premiums by preferencing women in their hiring process.

The incumbent is responsible for advising city management, the Mayor and City Council in the development and maintenance of effective current and long-range policies, plans and practices. The Public Information Office coordinates internal communication for city employees and information outreach with the public; serving as a central source for communication about the city. The work of the office keeps residents and other stakeholders aware of city policies and actions; coordinates city activities which affect relations with the public; collects and analyzes information on the changing attitudes of key public groups toward the city; maintains effective relationships with civic, corporate, and educational organizations; manages electronic communications, including Web sites, Facebook and Twitter; and develops and participates in news conferences, special events, and other programs of public interest. Supervision is exercised over professional and technical staff in public information and video production. This position exercises considerable initiative and independent judgment and works under the general supervision of a Deputy City Manager. The Public Information Director also helps advise executives and communications personnel throughout the city organization. The incumbent in this position is expected to resolve problems of a professional and technical nature and must effectively confront problems while managing competing priorities.

Five Phoenix public relations jobs that will go to females
EEOC dismisses all complaints by men when it comes to public relations jobs. Want you to check back in January with these positions and companies. All five of these public relations jobs currently open will have been filled by females - all under 40. No age or sex discrimination per EEOC for the past 20 years.
In that time, females went from 38 percent of the workforce to 54 percent. Black men went from 16 to 14 percent of the workforce. Go figure. Could it be an EEOC agenda?

Do we call it tokenism when a realtor is more qualified than any man at Phoenix Chamber of Commerce for Vice President position?
The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce hired a realtor over scores of more qualified males as its Vice President of Public affairs.
Here’s her background – she’s been head of a non-existent Arizona non-profit for 10 years, National Federation of Independent Business. Yes, this organization operates nationally, but has less than 100 members in Arizona. Ironically, if you look at Indeed.com, a job search engine, this organization is currently looking for an “Outside Sales Representative” to replace Bolton. So she wasn’t head of the organization, she was its lone Arizona sales person.
She was also a member of all these realtor organizations – because she’s been a realtor when the economy was good.
The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce passed over men with MBAs with years of lobbying experience for this? Time to not renew your Chamber membership.

“Bolton, former Arizona director for the National Federation of Independent Business replaces Todd Sanders, who moved into the group’s president-CEO slot. Bolton will represent the chamber’s 3,400 business members with government officials at the local, county, state and federal levels.
“The relationship between the Valley’s business community and the state legislature is crucial, perhaps now more than ever,” Sanders said.
“Bolton’s career in legislative affairs also includes American Land Title Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and serving as an aide (secretary) to U.S. Rep. Rick Santorum, who later became a senator for Pennsylvania.
“She had been with the NFIB for 10 years, and her last day was Friday. The small-business group is in the process of interviews for a replacement and hopes to have someone in place by the end of the month, a spokeswoman said. (of course the Chamber passed over more qualified men for this position).

It's bad enough we've had President Barack Obama's crony Robert Reich attacking men.
Here's what his supreme court nominee Sonia Sotomayor said, “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion [as a judge] than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

Arizona’s temporary female governor appoints another female to state post
With Arizona state employees ranks being near 60 percent female, Arizona’s temporary agency governor, Rose Mofford, I mean Jane Hull, I mean Jan Brewer, appointed Judy Lowe to head the state’s department of Real Estate. EEOC has never been able to find any cases of discrimination against the state when it involves male complaints, either Neither has the do-nothing governor want to be, Attorney General Terry Goddard.
EEOC’s Phoenix office is dominantly female, too. They couldn’t find any discrimination in their butts, either, because their heads are up there.
As for Goddard, can anyone name anything he’s done other than construct a park in downtown Phoenix, recently demolished, with a laser beam that could blind airline pilots?

“The woman chosen to be the next director of Arizona's state parks once carved her name into a historic parks property in southeastern Arizona.
“The Arizona State Parks Board's unanimous selection of Renée Bahl to take over the parks system next month has polarized state leaders
“Bahl, 40, is "a vigorous, intelligent, resourceful person who knows how to get through the most difficult of times," said Bill Scalzo, who led the selection committee for the Arizona State Parks Board.
“But at least one lawmaker says her selection as director is inappropriate given a vandalism incident that took place a decade ago.
“Bahl, a former assistant state parks director, oversaw historic preservation at the San Rafael Ranch.
“In 1999, another employee caught her etching her first name and the year into the wall of a historic adobe barn.
“Bahl was disciplined but remained in her job until 2002, when she left to become director of parks and recreation for San Diego County, Calif.
“State Rep. Daniel Patterson, D-Tucson, criticized the selection.
"Bahl should be fully questioned about her vandalism of state historic properties, and rejected as a poor choice for this important job," Patterson wrote on his blog. "Someone as clueless as Bahl on protecting state treasures is clearly not appropriate to head state parks."
“Through a spokeswoman, Bahl declined to comment. Officials said they were impressed with Bahl's education, which includes a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in public administration with a focus on natural resource management.”
