Andrus Children's Center of Yonkers, New York discriminates against men

Yonkers, NY Andrus Children's Center recently filled a Communications and Volunteer Coordinator - with a female. One male, who uses his initials and sister's email address, was called for an interview.

When he called the person back who left the message to schedule the interview, when the female Andrus Children's Center employee discovered the candidate was male, said, "We were just checking your email address, is this it." No interview was forthcoming for the position.

EEOC says that's fine and okay, since 80% of all job losses in the past two years have been men and women dominate the workforce. Even though they are protected by the Civil Rights Act as amended in 1969. Why is that still on the books - and being used against men?
