Men unprotected minority in workforce
13-million out of work

In 1969, the world's greatest president, Richard M. Nixon issued an executive order to make females a minority in the eyes of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

Since 2002, the Department of Labor reported 52 percent of the workforce was female. In 2009, the media is just discovering that fact. Since men are now the minority, when do we get an executive order protecting them under the Civil Rights Act?

This weekend, following Friday's August job report, we discovered that since Nov. 2007, not four or six million jobs were lost, but 16-million. That means men, who have suffered the greatest losses, 80%, have lost 13-million jobs.

Women unemployed numbers are 8 percent and men 12 percent. The media reported if part time and discouraged workers were included, men would be at 17 percent.

There would be a public outcry if that were women, gays, Native Americans or other minorities. Fine that it's men, preferably (and it is) older men.

Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce discriminates against MEN, age and experience

In October, Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce advertised for a Communications, Public Relations and Program Manager. See Oct. 7 posting here.

The Chamber passed up both men and women over 40 to hire Beth Burnett. It passed up experienced journalists from The Arizona Republic, East Valley Tribune, men with MBAs in favor of a young female.

EEOC finds no discrimination here.

Andrus Children's Center of Yonkers, New York discriminates against men

Yonkers, NY Andrus Children's Center recently filled a Communications and Volunteer Coordinator - with a female. One male, who uses his initials and sister's email address, was called for an interview.

When he called the person back who left the message to schedule the interview, when the female Andrus Children's Center employee discovered the candidate was male, said, "We were just checking your email address, is this it." No interview was forthcoming for the position.

EEOC says that's fine and okay, since 80% of all job losses in the past two years have been men and women dominate the workforce. Even though they are protected by the Civil Rights Act as amended in 1969. Why is that still on the books - and being used against men?

Remember when employers discriminated for child bearing
Now it is reverse
Can't have a baby, get lost

A Phoenix public relations blog had an article on being pregnant and doing public relations. One of the most visited posts on the Internet.

Used to be employers avoided younger women because they'd get pregnant every year or two and miss six months of work - which the employer must pay out of health care benefits. Men have no such benefit; another disparity women cover up by screaming they don't make as much as a man (bull).

Since 95% of all public relations jobs in Phoenix are held by women, employers must prefer losing years of work and paying higher health insurance premiums by preferencing women in their hiring process.

Do we call it tokenism when a realtor is more qualified than any man at Phoenix Chamber of Commerce for Vice President position?

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce hired a realtor over scores of more qualified males as its Vice President of Public affairs.

Here’s her background – she’s been head of a non-existent Arizona non-profit for 10 years, National Federation of Independent Business. Yes, this organization operates nationally, but has less than 100 members in Arizona. Ironically, if you look at Indeed.com, a job search engine, this organization is currently looking for an “Outside Sales Representative” to replace Bolton. So she wasn’t head of the organization, she was its lone Arizona sales person.

She was also a member of all these realtor organizations – because she’s been a realtor when the economy was good.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce passed over men with MBAs with years of lobbying experience for this? Time to not renew your Chamber membership.

“The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce named Michelle Bolton vice president of public affairs and economic development.

“Bolton, former Arizona director for the National Federation of Independent Business replaces Todd Sanders, who moved into the group’s president-CEO slot. Bolton will represent the chamber’s 3,400 business members with government officials at the local, county, state and federal levels.

“The relationship between the Valley’s business community and the state legislature is crucial, perhaps now more than ever,” Sanders said.

“Bolton’s career in legislative affairs also includes American Land Title Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and serving as an aide (secretary) to U.S. Rep. Rick Santorum, who later became a senator for Pennsylvania.

“She had been with the NFIB for 10 years, and her last day was Friday. The small-business group is in the process of interviews for a replacement and hopes to have someone in place by the end of the month, a spokeswoman said. (of course the Chamber passed over more qualified men for this position).

Even the Supreme Court WILL BE against men

It's bad enough we've had President Barack Obama's crony Robert Reich attacking men.

Here's what his supreme court nominee Sonia Sotomayor said,
“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion [as a judge] than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

That's not an attack against white men?

What if a white man had said something similar about "Latinas"?

Arizona’s temporary female governor appoints another female to state post

With Arizona state employees ranks being near 60 percent female, Arizona’s temporary agency governor, Rose Mofford, I mean Jane Hull, I mean Jan Brewer, appointed Judy Lowe to head the state’s department of Real Estate. EEOC has never been able to find any cases of discrimination against the state when it involves male complaints, either Neither has the do-nothing governor want to be, Attorney General Terry Goddard.

EEOC’s Phoenix office is dominantly female, too. They couldn’t find any discrimination in their butts, either, because their heads are up there.

As for Goddard, can anyone name anything he’s done other than construct a park in downtown Phoenix, recently demolished, with a laser beam that could blind airline pilots?

If it were a man, she’d had been fired

This from the Arizona Republic
“The woman chosen to be the next director of Arizona's state parks once carved her name into a historic parks property in southeastern Arizona.

“The Arizona State Parks Board's unanimous selection of Renée Bahl to take over the parks system next month has polarized state leaders

“Bahl, 40, is "a vigorous, intelligent, resourceful person who knows how to get through the most difficult of times," said Bill Scalzo, who led the selection committee for the Arizona State Parks Board.

“But at least one lawmaker says her selection as director is inappropriate given a vandalism incident that took place a decade ago.

“Bahl, a former assistant state parks director, oversaw historic preservation at the San Rafael Ranch.

“In 1999, another employee caught her etching her first name and the year into the wall of a historic adobe barn.

“Bahl was disciplined but remained in her job until 2002, when she left to become director of parks and recreation for San Diego County, Calif.

“State Rep. Daniel Patterson, D-Tucson, criticized the selection.

"Bahl should be fully questioned about her vandalism of state historic properties, and rejected as a poor choice for this important job," Patterson wrote on his blog. "Someone as clueless as Bahl on protecting state treasures is clearly not appropriate to head state parks."

“Through a spokeswoman, Bahl declined to comment. Officials said they were impressed with Bahl's education, which includes a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in public administration with a focus on natural resource management.”

WHO to stop using term 'swine flu' to protect pigs

GENEVA – The World Health Organization says it will would stop using the term "swine flu" to avoid confusion over the danger posed by pigs.

WHO spokesman Dick Thompson says the name change comes after the agriculture industry and the U.N. food agency expressed concerns that the term "swine flu" was misleading consumers and needlessly causing countries to order the slaughter of pigs.

He told reporters in Geneva "we're going to stick with the technical scientific name Old White Guy flu."

Women’s groups want your son to be illiterate and unemployed

Once more the media focuses on women’s groups helping women. High school graduates are 50/50. College graduates for 2009 are only 2 males for every 8 females.

Women comprise 54 percent of the workforce and have preferred status – minority. While black males under 25 have a 40 percent unemployment rate, 82 percent of the millions of jobs lost since 2007 have been men. Media once again focuses on groups favoring females.

Do the Boy or Cub Scouts exist, or do they need to include females while the Girl Scouts are still exclusive? The Boys Club is now the Boys and Girls Club. In 1916, it was founded as Big Brothers. Today (since 1977), it is Big Brothers Big Sisters. Soon you can bet it will strictly be Big Sisters – check the number of men working for this non-profit. I can guarantee it is dominated by females as all non-profits, government and education jobs are.

watch this, go to jail and have dozens of lawsuits - not for male school teachers, either

Double standards for sexual harassment

Yesterday an older man was fired from my company. It seems one of the “gals” had a penchant for wearing low cut tops and he couldn’t keep his eyes away.

Could you keep from looking – male or female – if I came to work showing part of my testicles?

No, I’d be sent home right away – more than likely arrested for indecent exposure. Yet for decades (and it is a new trend throughout history) women have been allowed to expose their breasts or wear extremely short skirts and men aren’t suppose to look. Why?

It is human nature to look at the unusual. Why do you think traffic slows on interstate highways in the other direction when there’s an accident – it’s unusual.

But courts have fined men, found against them in dismissals, and more for looking at exposed private parts on women. In Middle Eastern countries women would be imprisoned for such action – even having their hair exposed.

Yet in the West it is encouraged. Go to any bar or social setting any night of the week.

If a woman is looking at another woman exposing herself, that’s okay. Why?

We should rethink the Pat Schroeder comment about sexual harassment in the U.S. House – “Gentlemen, that is one, not two words.”

Arizona State Government discrimination okay per EEOC

Discrimination by Game & Fish
Apr. 10, 2009 12:00 AM

Arizona Repulsive
Now that you are paying attention to the Arizona Game & Fish Department, maybe someone can explain how it can sponsor a class for women only to teach them hiking, camping, archery, photography, outdoor cooking, etc.?

I thought there was a law that prohibited preferential treatment on the basis of sex? Or, does it prohibit excluding people because of their sex? In either case, the state has no business sponsoring an event based upon such discrimination.

Or, do you think that they are planning on offering classes to all the young men who grew up without fathers to teach them these same skills? "Men only," of course! Don't hold your breath.
- Mack Lake, Queen Creek

This agency has survived many EEOC complaints filed by men. EEOC finds no discrimination in Arizona State Government, even though some agencies have less than 12% male employers, 8% for Arizona Office of Tourism.

Told you so – jaguar murdered by Arizona government for being male and macho

A month ago people thought I was kidding when I said Arizona government murdered a RARE jaguar for being male. The animal was murdered according to Arizona’s only reputable newspaper, the Arizona Daily Star. For this site’s original report, click here.

The Republic is too busy ruining the English language, and is dominated by females, to do any serious reporting.

This report today from the Arizona Daily Star, “But the lack of signs of chronic kidney failure in those tissues probably means the jaguar didn't have kidney failure at the time he was captured in mid-February.

"Animals with chronic renal failure usually don't have their coats in good shape," Johnson said "They start to develop muscle wasting or atrophy. They do not look healthy and hardy."

EEOC in Arizona has created lawsuits so women dominate government, public relations, and are after Wal-mart and Home Depot for its agenda of genocide on jobs for men. There’s an agenda out there. If you don’t believe, why was this fine male specimen murdered?

Here’s the Star’s report:

By Tony Davis
Arizona Daily Star
Tucson, Arizona Published: 03.29.2009
Macho B may not have had chronic kidney failure after all.

Tissue samples from the last known wild jaguar in the United States showed no sign of kidney disease, the diagnosis Phoenix Zoo veterinarians made in deciding to euthanize him.

A pathologist at the UA's Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, which reviewed the tissue samples, said authorities may have moved too fast to euthanize the animal early this month. Bloodwork state Game and Fish officials said showed "off the charts" kidney failure could actually have indicated dehydration, said Sharon Dial of the veterinary lab.

The zoo should have kept the animal on intravenous fluids for 24 to 48 hours before euthanizing it, Dial said. State Game and Fish officials and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service officials agreed to euthanize the animal about five hours after he first got fluids. Zoo officials made the recommendation based on blood test results.

Dial said it is unproven "dogma" among some medical experts that blood levels alone can be used to "make a definitive statement that this animal will not survive." The zoo didn't have enough information to determine whether the jaguar researchers named Macho B needed to be euthanized, she said.

"Nothing is absolute. There is nothing to say that he absolutely would have recovered, but I can say by looking at the kidneys that there is no structural reason why he would not have," Dial said last week. "I've looked at a lot of cat kidneys, not jaguar kidneys. For a supposed 15-year-old cat, he had damned good looking kidneys."

It's possible Macho B had short-term, acute kidney failure that didn't show up in the tissues, another lab pathologist said. But the lack of signs of chronic kidney failure in those tissues probably means the jaguar didn't have kidney failure at the time he was captured in mid-February, said pathology resident Jennifer Johnson.

"Animals with chronic renal failure usually don't have their coats in good shape," Johnson said "They start to develop muscle wasting or atrophy. They do not look healthy and hearty."

Shortly after the jaguar's death, Phoenix Zoo veterinarian Dean Rice said the animal probably had kidney failure when he was initially captured that would have killed him within two months — although the capture probably aggravated the condition.

Snared accidentally
Macho B's death came 12 days after its original capture in the oak woodlands of Southern Arizona, near the Mexican border. Officials said the jaguar was snared accidentally by a research project tracking the movements of mountain lions and bears. He was fitted with a radio collar and released. But researchers tracking its movements by satellite data noticed he had slowed down significantly, had an abnormal gait and had lost weight. They recaptured it March 2 and took it to the Phoenix Zoo, where it was euthanized later that day.

A UA lab-produced report on the jaguar's tissue samples, which the Star obtained through a public-records request, is the first of three outside reviews of the case.

A federal wildlife lab in Madison, Wis., is analyzing the tissue samples. Both labs' conclusions and the tissues will go to Linda Munson, a specialist on large cats and a professor at the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She has agreed to review the data at no charge to the state.

"We encourage a full review of each and every part of the data, so we can provide the most complete review of what took place," said Terry Johnson, Game and Fish's endangered-species coordinator.

Once all that is done, Game and Fish will post all the findings on its Web site, officials said.

The UA report's author, lab director Gregory Bradley, declined to discuss its contents, saying the work was done for the zoo and is considered confidential. But pathologists who examined the tissue samples did talk, prompting a statement of outrage from Game and Fish.

Until all three reports are in, it is "unproductive and potentially irresponsible" to discuss one piece of the findings individually, Game and Fish said in a statement sent to the Star..

"It is outrageous, unprofessional and speculative of individuals from the Arizona Veterinary Diagnostic Lab not leading the case to comment and offer opinions based on very incomplete information. Those individuals from the vet diagnostic lab had no involvement with the evaluation and treatment of Macho B when he was alive, and so their comments are not valid or appropriate," the Game and Fish statement said.

Phoenix Zoo officials referred questions about Macho B's death to Arizona Game and Fish, which defended the zoo veterinarians' recommendation to euthanize the cat.

"We recognize that in veterinary medicine, there are almost as many opinions as there are doctors and attorneys," Terry Johnson said. "In this case, you've got the guys in the room up to their elbows in data on this animal. We asked them to give their best professional opinion."

Truth versus opinion
Sorting truth from opinion will be difficult because officials chose to perform a "cosmetic" necropsy rather than a full one, outside experts said. The zoo conducted the less invasive procedure at the request of the wildlife service and the Game and Fish Department to leave the skin intact for an as-yet-undecided future use, Terry Johnson said. In a cosmetic necropsy, authorities make careful incisions so the skin can be salvaged, he said.

Arizona Game and Fish is considering using the hide to create a "live mount" of Macho B to be exhibited for educational purposes, according to an e-mail from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service supervisor Steve Spangle, obtained through a public records request.

Mark Plunkett, a taxidermist in the Verde Valley, skinned Macho B's carcass and sent the hide to a tanner to insure its preservation for storage and for any future use,

Johnson said. Once the analysis of Macho B's death is complete, the department will work with the Fish and Wildlife Service to decide how to permanently archive the skin and other remains, he said.

Preserving the jaguar's body for use had trade-offs. A complete organ-system by organ-system necropsy would likely have provided better evidence about what led to its death, said David Jessup, a senior wildlife veterinarian for California Fish and Game. Tissue samples of the brain and spinal cord were not taken, for example, and they might have explained the jaguar's unusual movements in the days before he was recaptured March 2.

Oldest known wild jaguar
Macho B was the only one of four jaguars that have been photographed in Southern Arizona and southwest New Mexico since 1996 that was known to be still living in the wild. He was also the oldest known wild jaguar anywhere. At the time of its capture, state officials pegged its age at 15 to 16. The vet lab said the cat was 16 to 18.

The UA report offered these conclusions about the jaguar's tissues:
• The tissues examined didn't indicate significant kidney disease.
• A small area in one section of kidney tissue showed papillary necrosis — a kidney disorder in which all or part of collecting ducts entering the kidney die. That, along with the presence of mineral and salt deposits in the kidney's inner section, suggest "there was a degree of dehydration."
• The papillary necrosis and the mineral buildup suggest the animal had pre-renal azotemia, a condition in which blood doesn't flow through the kidneys and nitrogen-based wastes build up inside them.
• Sections of the kidneys known as tubules, an area where waste materials are concentrated into urine, showed mild to moderate dilation — a sign that cells there were farther apart than normal. But the dilation was probably brought about by intravenous fluids the cat had been receiving for five hours before its death, and wasn't significant.

Dial acknowledged that she didn't know how feasible it would be to keep a wild animal such as a jaguar on IV fluids for an extended period because it would not stay quiet and would become agitated under those circumstances.

"If he'd been a domestic cat, I don't think he would have been euthanized," she said.

As evidence that cats can survive acute renal failure, she pointed to a study published last year in the Journal of American Veterinary Medicine. It found that more than half of 32 domestic cats treated for acute renal failure at a New York City veterinary hospital over seven years survived. These cats' initial bloodwork showed average values slightly lower on key indicators than what Macho B had, but some of the cats had sharply higher values than the jaguar did.

The cats' survival rate depended to a large extent on their urine concentrations — the higher, the better their chances of survival, the study showed. Macho B's urine concentration was low, according to a urinalysis conducted shortly after his death. But many veterinarians say urinalyses conducted on cats with large amounts of IV fluid in them are not accurate because the fluids dilute urine concentrations.

Some vets less critical
Some veterinarians who examined the lab report and necropsy at the Star's request didn't disagree with Dial and Johnson, but were less critical of the agencies' decision to euthanize the jaguar.

"It might have been nice if we could have kept it alive a little longer so that fluids could have worked. But the fact that the cat hadn't moved for awhile makes me think that something was going on and we don't know what that was — it could be a central nervous system problem or problems in other locations," said Lawrence McGill, a veterinary pathologist in Salt Lake City who is a spokesman for the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.

Ladan Mohammad-Zadeh, a Tucson veterinarian specializing in intensive care, said after reading the reports that she didn't consider Macho B's condition irreversible but she didn't want to second-guess the decision to euthanize. She said she believed the cat had acute kidney failure because the bloodwork showed extremely high levels on a number of crucial indicators, including phosphorous and potassium.

It can take a few days from the time of injury to the kidneys before the problems show up in tissues, said Mohammad-Zadeh, of Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. The only way authorities could have known if the cat's problems were treatable would be to keep it on fluids for several days, she said.

Veterinarian Jessup, of the California Department of Fish and Game, said he doubted the zoo's euthanasia recommendation was based solely on the bloodwork because vets seldom make recommendations only on those numbers.

"If this were the only problem, more aggressive fluid therapy, anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications might have helped. … I strongly suspect the animal was non-responsive or poorly responsive," he said, and that there is more information in other medical records at the zoo that contained a full rationale for euthanasia.

But in any case, said Dial, of the UA veterinary diagnostic lab, a full necropsy would have been best for a full understanding.

"The lack of total transparency in the handling of the case will not allow full understanding of what could have been done better" she said. "It is important to learn from every experience, to come together and improve the understanding of everyone involved so that there is no repeating of past mistakes."

EEOC sues Wal-mart for women, not men

EEOC's inaction promoting racism in Arizona public relations

A communiqué this morning informed me I was totally inaccurate on the number of Blacks working in public relations in Phoenix. I was informed the 3,000 practitioners was accurate, but that less than five Blacks worked in Phoenix public relations. That’s one tenth of one percent, .001. I thought I’d double it just to be conservative. That doesn’t make it much different, .003 or three tenths of a percent.

But EEOC has no problem with this. The Arizona Johns – Kyl, McCain and Shadegg are hunky dory with this. Even the Arizona news media have overlooked this for two decades – after all, their newsrooms are packed to the gills with white females.

Where is the outrage?

Sex discrimination = racism

Throughout this blog are companies that won’t hire men. The problem is, sexism and racism go hand-in-hand.

There are roughly 3,000 public relations practitioners in greater Phoenix. Less than eight percent of that is male. Less than two percent is Black or Afro-American, while this race makes up more than 15 percent of Phoenix’s population.

Less than one percent of all Phoenix public relations practitioners are Oriental, while this demographic comprises eight to 10 percent of Phoenix’s citizens.

There is one Native American television broadcaster. It is unknown if there are any practicing public relations experts in Phoenix of Native American ancestry.

So public relations, and the majority of government professional jobs in Arizona (Arizona's largest employer is state government), are held by WHITE women, who enjoy the same Equal Rights Amendment protection of Blacks, Native Americans and Orientals. Why? Ask your congressMAN and they will look the other way.

Look at this report from the Arizona Republic. You’ve heard all these excuses as why men comprise 82 percent of those laid off since 2007. Now they are stereo-typing other races in the same manner they handle men. No media is reporting on EEOC’s agenda to put white women in the majority of jobs. They’re almost there. All women comprise 54 percent of the workforce. Soon that number will be WHITE women.

As I said, sexism and racism go hand-in-hand. When will Americans wake up?

Unemployment hits harder among Latinos, Blacks
“Much of the disparity is due to a concentration of Latinos and Blacks in construction, blue-collar or service-industry jobs that have been decimated by the economic meltdown (same thing they say about men). And Black unemployment has been about double the rate for whites since the government began tracking those categories in the early 1970s. (That’s a lame-ass excuse. Fails to mention that women have doubled in the workforce for the same time period. Why? Why aren't news media exposing that fact?)

“William Darity, a professor of economics and African-American studies at Duke University, said that "Blacks and Latinos are relative latecomers to the professional world ... so they are necessarily the most vulnerable."

"We don't have those older roots to anchor us in the professional world," Darity said. "We don't have the same nexus of contacts, the same kind of seniority."

“Many times Blacks and Latinos are the last to be hired, so naturally they are first to be fired," said Jerry Medley, who has been in the executive search business for 30 years.”

And the story goes on with its racist rants – not revealing that WHITE women are taking over the job market and men and minorities just have to get out of the way, losing their homes and families.

Maricopa Community Colleges, nation's second largest, racist and sexist

Maricopa Community College District reports 75 percent of its professional staff are female and less than seven percent of its entire workforce is Black and less than two percent Native American.

The district employs nearly 5,000.

EEOC finds all this fine and dandy because the majority of the nation’s second largest community college district is female. That fits with EEOC’s agenda of promoting white females in the workforce. They have dismissed numerous complaints against this employer.

Click here, go to page 20.

KTVK-TV Channel 3 Phoenix is racist and sexist

It appears KTVK-TV Channel 3 Phoenix is more sexist and racist than believed. They purchase a show from IMAGE MAKERS AGENCY LLC called “Your Life A to Z.”

KTVK does not own the show, but they contract with Image Makers. It appears Image Makers practices both race and sex discrimination under the caveat they do not employ more than 15 people.

EEOC’s Agenda Against Men learned a male over 40 applied for the company’s marketing director several years back. He was smart, using his initials and his sister’s email address.

The owner of the company called this individual. She was hot to interview this female marketing wonder. When it turned out the applicant was male, she SUDDENLY had to take another phone call. Repeated attempts by the male to reach this individual, even calling her cell phone, failed.

Yes, the company did hire a female for the position. The company has no people of color, Orientals, older workers; strictly racist organization.

EEOC found in their favor because they did not have 15 employees and did not have to adhere to EEOC’s guidelines.

Channel 3 KTVK is different. They have to adhere to EEOC guidelines. The way they skirt them is to contract shows through sexist, racist companies like Image Makers Agency,

Write a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and express you are fed up with KTVK-TV Channel 3 Phoenix’s discriminatory policies. Ask that their license be pulled. It’s a long time since the Lewis family owned the company and ran it respectfully.

Arizona female governor prefers uneducated female over M.B.A. (MBA) men for touism office head

Arizona’s temporary agency female governor (all the temporary agency governors in past 20 years have been female, Rose Mofford, Jane Hull, Jan Brewer) appointed another female to head the Arizona Office of Tourism. This agency is less than 8 percent male.

This time Brewer appointed a woman with no college degree over men with 30 years marketing experience and M.B.A.s. That’s great for an agency responsible for the state’s #1 industry, tourism.

Let’s look at why Arizona leads the nation in job loss (according to Arizona Republic). Below is a list of its tourism industry leaders – all female. Let’s see, the nation’s economy tanks after women dominate the workforce, tourism drops in Phoenix, the city leads the nation in job losses. When will people realize you need both men and women to make a profit? Not having diversity is harmful.

There has not been a governor elected to the office (without being appointed by a resignation) who has served his or her full term in office in 50 years. You wonder what’s killing Arizona and why it has the fewest Fortune 500 headquarters per capita of any state outside New Mexico?

EEOC has dismissed EVERY complaint men file against the tourism industry in Arizona. No decimation here.

Screen Actor Guild practices sex discrimination

EEOC says it’s okay. A male with an MBA and one of the top experts in entertainment public relations was contacted for an interview with Screen Actors Guild last fall for the Director of Communications position. He used his initials and sister’s email address.

Once they found out it was a male, the interview was not conducted. Okay with EEOC. Here is who got the job, why yes, a female with less education and experience: http://www.linkedin.com/in/kellierileyguerrero

Channel 3 KTVK Phoenix now lily white, mostly blond

By firing it’s only on-air minority (sorry for those who feel Hispanic is a race; they too are Caucasian), the station is now lily white and mostly blond. EEOC has NO problem with this since the majority of the news crew is female.

No one of the “oriental” race and no one of “negroid,” or as is now politically correct, Afro American descent.

Yet EEOC is for equality when 12% of Phoenix is African-American, eight percent oriental descent. Channel 3 should have its FCC license pulled.

But let’s give them credit, they do have one Hawaiian. Is this their minority quota?

Channel 3 story below

It should be noted in the story below, Channel 15, KNXV, also has no men on its news that starts at 4:30 in the morning.

The Place With More Chicks - Channel 3 Phoenix gets rid of its men

It's slogan used to be the place with more news, but local pundits tagged it the "Place With More Chicks." Channel 3 TV Phoenix even had a billboard touting 50 to 100 women, no men. Now they've gotten rid of all the men on the morning newscast, except for the helicopter guy. He's next. This from the Phoenix Business Journal:

“Good Morning Arizona” personalities Brad Perry and Dan Davis were let go Wednesday by KTVK-TV Channel 3, according to local media sources and individuals close to the station.

KTVK parent company Belo Corp. would not confirm the move or provide specific information on how many other employees were let go from the Phoenix station.

KTVK President and General Manager Nick Nicholson (A MAN - FIRE HIM!) did not return calls for comment.

“Belo is not providing details regarding the reduction in force,” said spokeswoman Jill Matthews. “We do not release personal information of those individuals who may be impacted.”

Perry joined KTVK in February 1998 as the weatherman for “Good Morning Arizona,” where he did remote weather broadcasts live from locations across the Valley. Before moving to Phoenix, he was a freelance correspondent for Chicago’s WGN-TV, where he did “Around Town” segments for the station’s morning show. He also worked as a correspondent for WTTW-TV Channel 11 (Wild Chicago).

Davis, who won an Emmy as an anchor on “Good Morning Arizona,” had been with the station for almost 27 years. He was inducted into the Emmy Silver Circle for his long career, which began in 1977 at KNAZ-TV Channel 2 in Flagstaff. He also has hosted KTVK’s “Brainstorm,” an educational science show for children.

Perry’s and Davis’ profiles still are accessible on the station’s Web site. Typically, that type of information is immediately removed.

Early Wednesday morning, Dallas-based Belo announced it was cutting 150 positions throughout the company, suspending its 401(k) matching contributions, and reducing the salaries of employees in the management compensation program by 5 percent.

Belo (NYSE: BLC) said the measures will take effect in mid-April.

The cost-cutting moves will cut Belo’s cash operating expenses by about 10 percent in 2009, said Dunia Shive, the company’s president and CEO.

Belo also operates KTVK’s Phoenix sister station, KASW-TV Channel 6. The company would not release any information on how the cuts might impact KASW.

Men need not apply

This item from an online news site:

Workers can file discrimination complaints with the EEOC, which can then seek to remedy the situation including via lawsuits. Some of the complaints end up in financial settlements and mediation while others are determined to have no merit.

NBC lies - Women must work to support men boo-hoo. Why isn't story about men not being hired over preference for women?

NBC News did a report that women are supporting men. It is erroneous in may areas. First, women surpassed men in the work force in 2002, with women having 54% of the jobs in that year.

Second, it is 82%, not 78% men laid off since Nov. 2007.

No mention of EEOC’s genocide of male jobs, why not NBC? Why not Fox, ABC, CNN or CBS?

More women becoming sole breadwinners
Posted: Friday, March 06, 2009 4:22 PM by Daily Nightly Editor
By Mara Schiavocampo, NBC Nightly News digital correspondent
When Debbie Butner's husband was recently laid off from his job of 14 years, she became the sole breadwinner of the family. That's happening in more and more families across the country, as men have been hit hard by this recession. About 78 percent of job cuts since December 2007 have gone to men (actually 82%), who tend to work in heavily affected industries like construction and manufacturing (bullshit - it is government workers, education, college professors, lawyers). Women are more likely to work in more stable industries like education and healthcare.

Because of this imbalance, women now make up more than 49 percent (nearly 60) of the workforce. If the trend continues, they could surpass men in the workforce (have since 2002, yet population is still 50/50) for the first time in U.S. history (actually world history - thank EEOC's agenda). Given the grim circumstances, it's hardly a milestone to celebrate. Psychologically, many men have a very hard time being out of work. Men often believe that they are responsible for financially supporting the family (so do their wives. Divorce is escalating due to male joblessness and underemployment). Being out of work can effect their self-esteem and lead to feelings of depression (duh).

Several other issues also surface when a woman suddenly becomes the sole breadwinner of the family. For one thing, women are still not paid equally for equal work, earning about 80 cents to the dollar when compared to their male counterparts (bullshit - an employed woman is making 100% more than an unemployed male and a lot more than an underemployed male - don't buy into women movement lies). Women may also face additional challenges in balancing home and work. One study found that working women spend more time on childcare and household duties than unemployed men (because they're spending 75 hours a week looking for a job plus working as a greeter at Walmart). Many women are certainly feeling the strain of working two shifts--one at work and one at home.

Imagine the outcry if this were men instead of women

More than 10-million men have lost their jobs since Nov. 2007. Imagine the public outcry, people taking to the streets, if employers reported the following statistics for men rather than women!

We'd hear the LAME excuse that women make 80 cents on the dollar of men. Tell that to the 100% woman managers places and the 10-million men who lost their jobs and make 0 cents on the dollar these women are making.

Rare U.S. Jaguar euthanized for being male

Arizona media are reporting a rare jaguar found in the U.S. was captured in February, then put to sleep the second day of March. Authorities say it was because of kidney failure. No problems less than two weeks earlier when it was put back in the wilds. Could it be it was a MALE jaguar?

This animal is so rare in the U.S., the last time one was sighted was in 1961 at the old El Conquistador Hotel in Tucson when it was on Broadway between Country Club and Alvernon. That one in 1961 was seen smoking a cigar and sipping rye whiskey on the rocks. The 2009 one probably died from have its nuts snipped like every man in the U.S. since the Equal Rights Act was amended in 1969. It was such a magnificent example of manhood it had to be eliminated.

Arizona Republic's penchant for hiring female editorial staff resulted in this headline. Check our headline to compare the mistake:

Write your US congressman to end job genocide on men

Contrary to what others tell you, if you live in New Jersey and write an Illinois congressman person, no matter what the issue, that Illinois congress”person” will not pay attention to you.

So write your U.S. representatives and senators today. Tell them to investigate EEOC’s agenda of genocide of jobs for men. Here are their contacts:

House -
http://www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW_by_State.shtml

Senate -
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm?OrderBy=state&Sort=ASC

Remember to address them with respect, “Dear Honorable (Representative/Senator)” no matter what you think. Be professional. Ranting and raving is inappropriate.

EEOC’s agenda of genocide for male jobs

The State of Arizona (government employment), where the population is 50/50, manages to have 56% female employment, with some agencies as high as 82% female. This is the same agency I filed an EEOC complaint with EEOC again filing the paperwork.

Even the Attorney General’s office, which is responsible for upholding equality in hiring, is at 68% females.

Check the Arizona Office of Tourism – an agency civic leaders are rightfully calling for its closing – has two men out of a staff of 34.
http://www.azot.com/contacts.aspx

Have filed numerous EEOC complaints against this agency and neither the AG or EEOC could find any wrong doing. No discrimination based on gender here – two out of 34 – no discrimination at all.

How it breaks down for percentage of men (sorry, can't get table to duplicate):

2007 2008
AHCCCS 24 22
Attorney General 33 32
Commerce 33 37
Economic Security 23 22
Education 31 29
Health Services 36 36
Housing 17 18
Industrial Commission 33 34

If women were in the minority, you’d hear an outcry as loud as Obama taking on “equal pay” issues. When you’re a male minority, you’d like parity on finding a job, and not worry about “equal pay.” Yet men’s rights are ignored due to EEOC’s agenda of genocide for male jobs.

Chart for 2008, page 20, http://www.hr.az.gov/HR_Professional/PDF/Workforce_Report.pdf

Yet EEOC finds no discrimination - why not?

Who EEOC prosecutes for

Republic Services to settle $475K EEOC lawsuit

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued the University of Chicago Hospitals alleging that the Chicago Hospitals had unlawfully discriminated on the basis of religion when it constructively discharged Victoria Leyva

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing Jacobs Engineering Group, claiming it paid a female worker less than men who did the same work

Current administration against men

Men speaking up finally

EEOC prosecutes Republic when a woman complains, not a man

As a white male I have been filing EEOC cases since 1992 when I saw 95%+ of public relations positions going to women, particularly at college and government jobs. I have an MBA, have written for major publications like Denver Post and Arizona Republic for 30 years. Yet females always get the job, even if they don’t have college degrees. EEOC can not find any discrimination when a male is complaining.

Sen. Jon Kyl has written a letter or two stating not to contact his office about this. Sen. McCain refuses to do anything, as usual.

Here’s a case EEOC has never prosecuted when I had the same situation. When it involves a female, they go after it. Ironically, I filed an EEOC case against Republic filling the public relations position mentioned in the story - Peg Mulloy, manager of media relations. That complaint was filed without investigation.

Republic Services to settle $475K EEOC lawsuit

by Luci Scott - Feb. 18, 2009 04:03 PM The Arizona Republic

Republic Services, the Phoenix-based trash hauling, recycling and disposal company, will pay $475,000 to settle a sex-discrimination lawsuit brought against one of its subsidiaries by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The case involved a woman, Jeanine Moore, who in August 2005 applied for a truck-driver position with Robertson Sanitation at its Winder, Ga., facility. She never was interviewed and never received an offer. However, the EEOC said that the company hired men who were less qualified than Moore. Six of the men lacked Robertson's minimum qualifications for the truck-driver position, according to the job applications within 13 months after Moore applied, the EEOC said.

Robertson is owned by Republic Services, which in December merged with Allied Waste to create the nation's second-largest waste management company.

Moore will receive $70,000 in damages, and the remaining funds will be distributed among the remaining qualified female claimants.

Robertson also has agreed to exercise good faith in offering employment to qualified female applicants for residential, commercial, industrial and roll-off truck driver positions at the company's facilities in Winder and in Austell, Ga.

The decree provides that Robertson will not discriminate against qualified applicants on the basis of gender and that the EEOC will monitor company hiring for a time.

Peg Mulloy, manager of media relations for Republic Services, said the company believes it did not discriminate in the Georgia case.

"The bottom line is we don't care what color or gender or whatever a driver is," she said. "Our concern is do they have the experience and have a good driving record. Safety is the No. 1 priority."

Mulloy said the company resolved the lawsuit to avoid continuing expense, and it decided to look at its hiring, recruitment and training "and strengthen them and improve them. . . . We believe we're in compliance, but like any good company, we always want to look at programs and practices, and if they need to be improved, tweaked and enhanced, we're going to do that."
